Our Family Snowmobile Safari in Ruka brings everyone together for a winter adventure where children get their own turn at the handlebars. The highlight is a visit to our own private children’s snowmobile track, surrounded by snowy forest.

Follow your guide from Ruka through snowy woodland towards our campfire spot and children’s snowmobile track. Part of the journey follows a private snowmobile trail.
At our enclosed track in the forest, children can try mini snowmobiles under the guide’s supervision. The children’s driving session lasts around 15 minutes. Children must be at least 115 cm tall to drive the mini snowmobiles. Your guide assesses each child’s readiness and adapts the activity to their abilities. Adults can watch and take photos beside the campfire.
During our break, we grill sausages and share warm drinks and sweet buns before riding back to Ruka.
The complete experience lasts approximately three hours and covers around 25 kilometres by snowmobile. Beginners are welcome: your guide explains the controls before departure and sets a pace that suits the group.
