Winter Evening Snowmobile Safari to a Private Wilderness Hut in Ruka
Our Winter Evening Snowmobile Safari is a three-hour guided excursion into the snowy forests of Ruka. We depart from Ruka at 17:00 and ride through the peaceful winter landscape to a private wilderness hut. Part of the journey follows a quiet private snowmobile trail.
At the hut, we gather around the fire, grill sausages and enjoy hot juice or tea. The silence of the winter evening, snow-covered forest and atmospheric hut create a memorable Arctic experience. On a clear night, you may see the stars and possibly the Northern Lights, but their appearance cannot be guaranteed.
After the break, we return to Ruka by snowmobile. The safari is also suitable for beginners, as the guide provides driving and safety instructions before departure.
Solo travellers are welcome to book. The safari operates when at least four participants in total have booked the same departure.

Snowmobile, fuel, guide, driving and safety instructions, necessary winter equipment, transportation for children in a heated sled when required, sausage, hot juice or tea, insurance and VAT.
Please note for families: Children under 135 cm travel in a heated sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Children who are at least 135 cm tall may ride as passengers on a snowmobile driven by an adult.
Optional soup meal: A soup meal can be arranged for an additional €30 per person when ordered by at least eight participants. Choose between traditional reindeer soup (gluten-free and lactose-free) and vegetable soup (vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free). The meal includes bread, juice, coffee or tea and a sweet bun.
In the event of damage, the excess is €1,000 per snowmobile.
