Snowmobile & Huskysafari

Mon-Fri at 10am or by reservation

We will ride snowmobiles from Ruka to a husky farm, where we will take a 2.5-km tour driving a dog sled. After the tour we will enjoy coffee and buns in a warm cottage, and then we will continue by snowmobiles back to Ruka. The total distance of the snowmobile ride is about 20 km. A heated sled is also available for children.

Reindeer Safari

Reindeer Safari

We will ride snowmobiles from the Ruka to a rustic reindeer farm, where the reindeer herder tells us about reindeer husbandry. We get to drive reindeer sleds and feed the reindeer. After reindeer ride we will enjoy coffee in a warm cottage. We will return from the reindeer farm to the place of departure by snowmobile. The total distance of the snowmobile ride is about 20 km. A heated sled is also available for children

Safari Around Ruka

Experience the magnificent landscape of Ruka on a snowmobile. The route will take you to several scenic spots. Half-way through the trip we will stop to admire the view over Konttainen and Valtavaara fells. A heated sled is also available for children.
