Husky Safari in Ruka – Snowmobile Tour to a Husky Farm
This Husky Safari combines snowmobiling through the snowy forest landscapes of Ruka with an exciting dog sled ride at a local husky farm. We depart from Ruka by snowmobile and travel through the winter forest to the farm.
At the husky farm, we take an approximately 2.5-kilometre dog sled ride. Afterwards, we enjoy coffee and sweet buns in a warm cottage before returning to Ruka by snowmobile. The total snowmobile distance is approximately 20 kilometres.
The safari is suitable for couples, friends and families. First-time snowmobile riders are also welcome, as the guide provides driving and safety instructions before departure.
Husky safaris operate from 23 December 2026 onwards.

Minimum participation
Solo travellers are welcome to book. The safari operates when at least 4 participants in total have booked the same departure.

- €145 per person when two people share one snowmobile
- €185 per person, 1 person/snowmobile
- €85 per child aged 5–12
Price incl.
Snowmobile, guide, driving and safety instructions, fuel, driving equipment (thermal overalls, winter boots, gloves, balaclava and helmet), child transportation in a heated sled when required, a 2.5 km dog sled ride, coffee and a sweet bun at the husky farm, insurance and VAT.
Please note for families: Children under 135 cm travel in a heated sled pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Children who are at least 135 cm tall may travel as passengers on a snowmobile.
In the event of damage, the excess is €1,000 per snowmobile.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
